Hackers are not immune to computer failure during presentations. Quintin Russ (guy on the right on stage) could not get connected to the projectors because his graphics card wouldn’t play along.

Fortunately, we had a document camera with which he could project his screen for his impromptu presentation on two security vulnerabilities that MySQL and PLESK hadn’t fixed in about 8 months and are not bothered to get fixed in the future. So what do you do as good hacker? You force them to fix the problem by finally letting others know about the exploits (after having tried to talk to them for months about fixing the loopholes).

The other two are Metlstorm who sets a new trend for hackers: wearing a kilt, and vex, both co-organizers of KiwiCon 4 who did an awesome job!
