The rain shelter – 2010-07-22
You see constructions like this one all around Wellington. In Europe you would think that they are bus shelters. Not so (necessarily) in Wellington. Usually, you find them here at intersections with traffic lights where people have to wait. As it rains quite a bit in Wellington, these serve as rain shelters. However, if you are a true Wellingtonian, you don’t need them because you are well used to the rain, as the people on this picture attest to.
