International mailbox – 2010-07-06
Due to its remoteness, I guess New Zealand Mail figured that a considerable amount of mail goes overseas (i.e. anywhere outside of New Zealand) and provides special mailboxes just for international mail.
Update:
I learnt that this mailbox and service was not offered by the New Zealand Post, but a private company. Opinions diverged whether it was still in operation or whether New Zealand post picked up mail dropped into these mailboxes out of curtesy.
