Counting à la Mac – 2012-05-15
Don’t trust the storage usage. Since the Safari update yesterday, my disk space on my Macbook Air has skyrocketed to over 1 TB from its previously measly 251 GB. I wonder how come that my backup drive is recognized when I haven’t even plugged it in and when the backup space is so deceiving.
It also doesn’t show anything about my virtual machine which takes up most of the space on my hard disk. So where are these 66 GB?
A colleague of mine would say to that: "Yeah well, it’s not open source. So what do you expect."
